Mass Casualty Event Drill - December 22nd

200 people participated from the army, mada, the city council, medics paramedics doctors and nurses. It involved 10 ambulances , a helicopter, and 10 army vehicles. They set up a collection zone for treating the wounded and treated and evacuated 80 wounded in a community center transformed into a medical collection zone.

Debra's team built the whole strategy of how the collection zone would work including logistics, equipment, staffing, division of tasks, treatment delivered, communication and transport etc and planned and executed the whole excersize with a team of 7 emergency medicine specialists. It was a huge success, filmed and documented and will be used as a format for how centers like this should be set up around the country.
